Dates set for Governor's Picnics

JUNEAU – The annual Governor’s Family Picnics, which have been have been held each year for more than a decade and which are made possible by generous donations from Alaska businesses and hundreds of volunteers, will be held on the following dates:

Anchorage

Saturday, July 23, from noon to 3 p.m. at Delaney Park Strip.

Palmer

At Raven Hall on July 22 on the Alaska State Fair grounds from 4 to 7 p.m.

Fairbanks

At Pioneer Park near Airport Way and Peger Road on Sunday, July 24, from noon to 3 p.m.

Juneau

Aug. 18 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Sandy Beach Shelters.
